5% Off the StoveTec Rocket Stove

by Tactical Intelligence on January 21st, 2010

5_percent_offAs I test out and review various preparedness/self-sufficiency type products, from time to time I come across ones that I think are excellent. The StoveTec rocket stoves are definitely one of them.

Yesterday I spoke with a representative from StoveTec — the manufacturer of the rocket stove I recently reviewed — and they are willing to give tacticalintelligence readers a 5% discount.

At checkout time, just use the promo code tact-intel-summ10 and 5% will be deducted from your total. It’s not much but at least it’s something.

You can pick one up here: StoveTec Rocket Stove. As I mentioned before, if you do buy one I’d love to hear some feedback. I love this stove and highly recommend it.

Polly,

The sight may have been down temporarily. I just checked and it seems ok.

Hi Sherry,

Thanks for the heads up. It looks like they updated the link on their end. It should now work.

Thanks for visiting! Hope you love the stove as much as I do!

I bought one of the stoves along with a water pasteurizer from http://www.ush2.com. I haven’t received the pasteurizer yet, but the stove works great. I stuck it in my fireplace and I’ve cooked a few meals on it. The amount of wood used was minimal. I could probably cook 2-3 times a day just using the branches and sticks that fall in my yard.

The stove is built like a tank and should provide a lifetime of usage.

A good kindling/starter material is dryer lint.

I thought a smelter I had made would work as a rocket stove, it didn’t. I have a propane and multi fuel stove. I need a rocket stove……
